For those of you who follow me on Twitter, know that a) I am pretty crazy, b) I love animals, and c) I will do anything I can to save an animal. I see an RT (re-tweet) from a friend of mine that a kitten was on her last day at a shelter. To me kittens being put down have never happened- in Chicago the biggest problems were older cats, which I why I had so many. Only in one case have I adopted a kitten, because he came with his mama. Anyways, I call the shelter because it’s in Lancaster (outside of LA) and ask if they could hold the kitten for me until I drove out there from Vegas. I had planned on going to see Dita Von Teese on the 17th, so I figured I could swing by the shelter, pick up the cat, go to the show, then head home. Continue reading →
I’ve been so behind on blogging recently. About a week ago I went to see Manlia Luzon from RuPaul’s Drag Race perform at the Revolution at the Mirage. I really think she should have won the Drag Race and seeing a few of them in person, including Raja the one that did win, made me believe even more that she should have won. We showed up a bit early because we had no idea what time they would be performing, by the time their performance was coming around we had spent a lot on booze, and they kicked us out of our table- and told us that we would have to buy a bottle in order to stay there. I was angry as were the people with me spending money on booze, had we known this we would have just bought a bottle. The manager told me if they came on stage and I couldn’t see them, he gave me permission to go behind the DJ booth (which is right at the stage) so that was nice, standing around in heels for an hour with screaming guys was not so nice. I ended up with a good view, but I still went behind the booth cause I could. The “girls” that showed up were, Raja, Manlia, Delta, Carmen and Raven (outta drag). Delta performed first and that lady is a fierce queen.

A few months back, I went to cheer on my friend Leo in his 1st ever full marathon, (he’s done a lot of running but never the full 26 miles before) I stood on the side lines smoking a cigarette laughing at the thought of someone running 26 miles for no reason other than to say they can. Then when he finished at his goal, I was sooooo happy for him!
At some point during then and now I had the “greatest idea” that by the end of the year I would run the half marathon, (which at the time I thought was only 6 miles- I have no idea where my math skills were at that moment) when I mentioned it to Leo, he said “Awesome, do it, I’ll help with your training if you need it.” Then I was told how far that I was really going to be going and I said, “YEAH RIGHT NOT GONNA HAPPEN.”

I have been a “cam girl” on and off for many many years- more than I care to admit actually. I never do it as a “job” so to speak- shit I have far too much on my plate already, there is just no way I would ever be able to do this full time.

This is for sure blog worthy. I broke 2 nails so I had to do what every girl does and suck it up and stop in a nail salon to get them cut down and fixed for work tomorrow- well maybe not every girl – but nail salon’s are rather girlie. I hate going to these places, they smell awful, they are a total waste of time, but I have to because I would waste more time trying to do it myself- ANYHOW…
